At Land of Oz Beef, we want you to choose the cuts of beef your family prefers. Save time and money - Imagine having a fully stocked freezer at home. No need to run to the store.
We offer 4 traditional ways to purchase our beef in bulk plus name your budget:
**Please note the following are approximate weights. Since each package is custom created around the cuts you choose, every package will weigh in differently. Packages are created by value. The goal is getting to the additional beef value.
1. Eighth, approximately 60 lbs, pay $500, receive $525 worth of beef
2. Quarter, approximately 120 lbs, pay $975, receive $1043 worth of beef
Recommended for families with 1-2 adults and a kid or two. Will take up half of a small chest freezer or 25% of a small upright freezer (14 cu. ft.)
3. Half, approximately 240 lbs, pay $1700, receive $1853 worth of beef
Recommended for large families with 2 adults and hungry kids. Will take up to 50% of a large upright freezer (20 cu. ft.)
4. Whole Steer, approximately 480 lbs, pay $3000, receive $3300 worth of beef
Recommended for large families with 2 adults and hungry kids, one of whom is clearly bound for professional sports. Will take up almost all of a large upright freezer (20 cu. ft.)
5. Name your budget.
Plan on approximately one cubic foot of freezer space for every 35-40 pounds of meat. The interior of a standard milk crate is slightly more than a cubic foot.
